Trust and transparency

Editorial policy

Editorial inclusion is based on room-level usefulness, source quality and traveller relevance, not commission rates.

Selection standards

Listings prioritise four-star, five-star, luxury and upscale London hotels with evidence tied to exact room or suite categories.

  • Prefer current official room pages.
  • Label OTA-only evidence for re-verification.
  • Downgrade public rooftop bars and restaurant terraces.
  • Never infer a private balcony from a hotel-wide image or general description.

Updates

Room names and features change. Every listing carries a last-checked date, source links and a statement of what still needs confirmation.

Originality and attribution

Editorial summaries should be written for this site and should not reproduce hotel, OTA or publisher copy beyond what is necessary to identify a room or source. Quotations, media and third-party material require a recorded source and appropriate attribution.

  • Keep factual room names exact.
  • Paraphrase descriptive source material.
  • Record third-party image licences before publication.
  • Correct or remove material when provenance cannot be substantiated.

Automation and review

Automated tools may assist research, formatting or quality checks, but they do not replace primary-source verification, image-rights checks or human editorial review before publication.
